Joan Oeltjen Violence Prevention Internship Scholarship
The Patricia A Tomson Center for Violence Prevention has a scholarship opportunity to provide to any College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a course-bearing internship in violence prevention from a generous ongoing gift from Marlin Oeltjen on behalf of his wife, Joan Oeltjen.
This fund is to be used to provide support for tuition and/or living expenses for a UNI student intern focusing on violence prevention who is a declared major in CSBS. There is no minimum grade point average for eligibility for this scholarship and awards are given in any semester the student is taking their internship.
CSBS students who are interested in being considered for the Joan Oeltjen Violence Prevention Internship can contact Alysa Mozak, PATCVP Director at alysa.mozak@uni.edu or Dr. Michael Fleming, PATCVP Co-Director, at michael.fleming@uni.edu
