Coaching Boys into Men

Coaching Boys into Men(CBIM) is a national, evidence-based prevention program that instructs and encourages athletic coaches to use their influence to build positive character and promote healthy relationships among male secondary school athletes through everyday coaching moments that reinforce positive behavior.

The Patricia A Tomson Center for Violence Prevention in partnership with the Iowa High School Athletic Association has led CBIM trainings across Iowa for secondary school coaches since 2012 with support from Futures without Violence.

To request a CBIM training, contact Michael Fleming at 319-273-6028 or email michael.fleming@uni.edu.
